Foster, Trial, Adopt
Which is right for me?

Ready to find your furever friend, or join our team of incredible fosters?! Our mission is to help dogs and cats that are in overcrowded, loud and dangerous shelters. Our fosters will take in a pup or cat, get to know them and be able to tell us about their personality, qualities and tendencies. While the dogs and cats are being fostered, we promote them across various adoption networks & social media platforms to find them their forever home! Interested to learn more? Check out our FAQs!

What is the difference between foster, trial and adopt?

  • Foster- You are ready to open your home to an animal in need with no intention of adopting. You are prepared to love and care for them while they wait for their forever family.

  • Trial- You are thinking you may like to potentially adopt the pet you are applying for. This allows the pet to be reserved for you for a 10-day trial while you get to see how they fit into your life. After the 10 days, you can either adopt the pet or decide to foster while they wait for their forever home. For this option, you will fill out the adoption application.

Many of our pups are waiting in Mexico for a chance to come to WA. In order for them to be able to come, they have to have an approved, commited family willing to have them on a 10-day trial. This commitment invloves, signing the trial contract and paying a deposit. Once everything is completed, we will start planning their flight to WA. ​
